WHO 24-HOUR CARE IS FOR
Not every family needs round-the-clock coverage from the start. Here is when 24-hour care becomes necessary.
Nighttime wandering, sundowning, and resistance to care. When dementia reaches mid-to-late stage, the needs do not stop at 6 PM. Shift caregivers keep someone qualified always present so the family sleeps.
Discharges after a hip replacement, stroke, major surgery, or serious illness often need around-the-clock support during the riskiest weeks of recovery.
A loved one who cannot safely get up alone, especially at night. Continuous supervision prevents the falls that lead back to the hospital.
When a loved one needs constant presence and comfort, 24-hour caregivers provide steady, dignified support alongside the family.
