Wartime veterans and surviving spouses can use VA Aid and Attendance toward in-home care. A-Team is an enrolled VetAssist provider and files the claim for free.
THE FOUR REQUIREMENTS
All four need to be met. A-Team helps you document each one.
At least 90 days of active duty with one or more days during a recognized wartime period, discharged under conditions other than dishonorable.
You need help from another person with everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, or eating, or you are largely housebound.
You are 65 or older, or you are permanently and totally disabled regardless of age.
Your countable net worth is under $163,699 (2026 limit, va.gov). Unreimbursed care costs are deducted from your income in the calculation.

| Complex / End-of-Life | Constant presence and comfort alongside the family. |
| PA Medicaid (CHC) | Covers personal-care hours that can reach near-24-hour coverage for the highest assessed need; A-Team is in-network with all three plans. |
