A short orientation gets you set up. We handle the payroll and scheduling paperwork.

Your specific amount is set by the plan and confirmed on your call.

Approved hours

The Community HealthChoices plan approves a number of care hours per week based on your loved one needs.

Level of care

Hands-on personal care and overnight needs can change the hours and rate the plan approves.

Your CHC plan

Keystone First, UPMC, and PA Health and Wellness each set their own pay schedules. A-Team is in-network with all three.

Your schedule

Regular weekly hours give a steady paycheck. A-Team runs payroll on a set schedule once you are onboarded.

How does getting paid as a family caregiver work?

Pennsylvania Community HealthChoices funds care hours, and an agency like A-Team hires the family caregiver and runs payroll. You provide the care and are paid on a regular schedule.

How much will I get paid?

The amount depends on the hours your loved one plan approves and the plan pay schedule. A-Team confirms your specific pay on your eligibility call.

How long until my first paycheck?

Once eligibility is confirmed, enrollment is complete, and onboarding is done, payroll starts on A-Team regular schedule. Timing depends on how quickly the plan processes enrollment.

Do I need experience to be paid?

No formal experience is required. A short orientation gets you started, and A-Team supports you along the way.

What does A-Team charge me?

Nothing. A-Team helps you enroll, hires you on, and runs payroll at no cost to your family.

Get Paid to Care for Your Loved One.

ACHC-accredited, Medicare-certified, RN-supervised care. PA Medicaid CHC, VetAssist, long-term care insurance, and private pay accepted.

24-Hour Shift Care	Rotating caregivers in 8- or 12-hour shifts, so someone is always awake and active in the home.
