A-Team Home Care delivers the full continuum of in-home care — from non-medical help with activities of daily living (ADLs and IADLs) and companionship, to skilled nursing and Medicare-certified therapy, to specialty programs for dementia, pediatric, autism, and veteran clients. Every plan is built around one goal: keeping your loved one safe, supported, and aging in place at home.

Non-Medical Home Care

Help with the daily living tasks your loved one needs to stay safe and comfortable at home — delivered by trained home health aides under registered-nurse supervision. Non-medical care is paid through private pay, long-term care insurance, the VetAssist Program (VA Aid & Attendance), the Pennsylvania Community HealthChoices Medicaid waiver, the PCA Philadelphia OPTIONS Program, or JFCS enrollment.

Specialty & Memory Care

Targeted home care programs for clients living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, medically complex children, and children on the autism spectrum. Each program is staffed by caregivers with condition-specific training and supervised by a registered nurse.

Skilled Home Health & Veteran Programs

Medicare-certified medical care delivered at home — registered-nurse visits, physical and occupational therapy, wound care — plus the VetAssist Program (VA Aid & Attendance pension benefit) for eligible wartime veterans and their surviving spouses.

Why Greater Philadelphia Families Choose A-Team Home Care

Every service above is delivered by the same accredited, supervised team — with the same standards, regardless of which program your loved one needs.

ACHC Accredited

A-Team Home Care is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care — the same standard used by hospital home-health departments.

Pennsylvania Licensed & Medicare Certified

Licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Medicare-certified for skilled home health services.

RN-Supervised Care Plans

Every client gets an in-home assessment by a registered nurse and ongoing oversight as needs change — not a check-the-box intake.

American Multilingual Staff

A-Team caregivers and office staff are local Americans who speak English, Spanish, Russian, or Ukrainian — clients are matched by language preference. Other languages staffed on request.

Family Caregiver Program

If you're already caring for an aging parent, sibling, or adult child, A-Team enrolls eligible relatives in PA's Community HealthChoices, PCA OPTIONS, or JFCS programs — so the care you're already giving comes with a paycheck.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions Greater Philadelphia families ask most about A-Team Home Care services.

What's the difference between non-medical home care and skilled home health?
Non-medical home care covers help with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, companionship — delivered by a home health aide. Skilled home health is medical care: registered-nurse visits, wound care, and physical, occupational, or speech therapy ordered by a physician and typically billed to Medicare. A-Team Home Care provides both.
How fast can A-Team Home Care start service?
A-Team Home Care can typically place a qualified caregiver in your home within 24 to 48 hours of your initial call. The process is: free in-home RN assessment, care plan, caregiver match, then care begins.
Does A-Team Home Care accept Medicaid or the PA Community HealthChoices waiver?
Yes. A-Team Home Care is in network with Pennsylvania Community HealthChoices (CHC) through Keystone First CHC, UPMC CHC, and PA Health & Wellness CHC. We also accept the PCA Philadelphia OPTIONS Program, JFCS enrollment, private pay, long-term care insurance, VA Aid & Attendance benefits through the VetAssist Program, and Medicare for skilled home health services.
Which Pennsylvania counties does A-Team Home Care serve?
A-Team Home Care serves Philadelphia, Bucks County, Montgomery County, Delaware County, Chester County, Berks County, Carbon County, Lehigh County, Northampton County, and Schuylkill County across Pennsylvania.
Can a family member be paid to care for a loved one?
Yes — with two exclusions. Spouses and anyone holding power of attorney for the care recipient are not eligible to be paid as caregivers. Other adult family members (adult children, siblings, nieces, nephews, in-laws) can become paid caregivers for a loved one through Pennsylvania's Community HealthChoices Medicaid waiver, the PCA Philadelphia OPTIONS Program, or JFCS enrollment. All paid caregivers — family or otherwise — must complete state-provided caregiver training, which A-Team Home Care helps coordinate. A-Team handles eligibility, enrollment, training coordination, and payment as the employer of record.
